A metal slitting machine is used to slit the metal coils into smaller coils with specific width.  The finished coils produced by metal slitting machine are used in a wide range of applications like tube making, roll forming and stamping operations. GEIT group’s metal slitting machine covers wide range of width of 400-2000mm and thickness 0.8-20mm to response different customer requirement.

Characteristics of metal slitting machine made by GEIT GROUP:

1) Adopt PLC control, hydraulic shearing and hydraulic system to achieve local automatic control. The whole unit is easy to operate, easy to maintain, precise tension adjustment, and quick replacement of disc shears.
2) The unit can be actively sheared by constant tension. The tension can be adjusted according to the thickness and material. The unit is required to adapt to a wide range of longitudinal shear strip thickness. It is also possible to passively shear some of the thin-walled coils, which are constant-speed shearing strips. The cutting has high quality precision, good strip quality and wide adaptability.
3) Do not scratch the surface of the strip.
4) Optimization of mechanical production process, auxiliary production time is short, high efficiency and high production capacity.
