What is a disc shear?

Disc shear is also called rotary shear, circle shear, which is usually uses a rotating disc blade to continuously and longitudinally shear the moving sheet or strip, according to application, rotary shear can be divided into two type, sometimes cutting the sheet or strip into narrow strips, such as used at slitting lines, or cutting the edges to be trimmed. such as the cut to length lines.  The cut strips are neat, precise and burr-free. The cutting angle of the disc shear is 90 degrees. The material is generally made of 5CrW2Si, 6CrW2Si. After processing, the hardness can reach 80-90 Shore. When it is used to cut the edge, it is usually equipped with a trimming machine to cut the edge to a small piece so as to cycle easily.
